With 50% of Cambodia's population under the age of 22, there is a shortage of professionals across various sectors, notably in healthcare. Nutritional deficiencies, mental health issues, and non-communicable diseases pose significant threats to the community. Our Health Promotion Challenge is, therefore, essential for enhancing the community's knowledge on crucial health topics and improving overall public health.

This program offers a hands-on opportunity to collaborate with our team in Cambodia, contributing to our health education initiative. As you learn about current health issues affecting the local community, you will utilise your skills, knowledge, and passions to address these topics through health education workshops. You will primarily work at our local partner schools and can expect to cover topics such as:
✨ Food safety and nutrition
✨ Disease transmission and prevention
✨ Female health and hygiene
✨ First aid & emergency response
These workshops will help impact children and their families in Battambang to live healthier and longer lives.
