Where you'll be based

Our hub is located in Kathmandu valley, a rural town encircled by more than six World Heritage sites! When you're not busy making an impact on one of our projects, you'll have the opportunity to explore these sites, wander through the town, eat fresh Nepalese momos and try your hand at a traditional pottery class. Just 30km from Kathmandu, this will be an unforgettable experience, absorbing the vibrant culture and history, filled with unique sights, sounds, smells and tastes.

Despite its rich culture and popularity as a trekking destination, many communities in Nepal face challenging conditions and lack access to quality healthcare, education, and income-generating opportunities. Through our partnerships with local schools, healthcare facilities and women's groups, we are continuously working to build the community's capacity to overcome current developmental challenges. You will be working alongside our charity, the FutureSense Foundation. Our FutureSense Nepal team are based here all-year-round and work hand-in-hand with the community. This ensures that all of our challenges are meeting current needs and are part of a long-term plan that aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This model ensures that you can make a contribution that will have an ongoing, positive impact in the community.
