Venture into the foothills of the Himalayas and put your skills to work where they’re needed most. Work alongside local health professionals and community members to strengthen emergency preparedness, run first aid workshops and support health initiatives. Make a real impact while immersing yourself in Himalayan culture, building resilience, and taking your learning beyond the classroom.

Making an Impact

Contribute to global health and well-being!

In India, you’ll team up with local schools, women’s groups and healthcare facilities to tackle real-world health challenges. On our Community Paramedic Challenge, you’ll get hands-on experience making a tangible, lasting impact - immersed in local culture and supported every step of the way by our in-country team. You will:

Design and deliver first aid and CPR workshops with local learners and teachers at our partner schools!

Work with the wider community to help train them in administering first aid and treating themselves and their families in an emergency!

Observing and assisting local health clinics in order to gain a better understanding of local facilities, processes and resources available!

Extend your adventure with our optional week-long India extension and experience the country’s most iconic sights!

Begin in Amritsar, where you’ll visit the Golden Temple and witness the legendary flag-lowering ceremony at the Wagah Border. Next, explore Agra, taking in the awe-inspiring Taj Mahal, the historic Red Fort, and bustling local markets. Finish your journey in Delhi, discovering the contrasts of the Old and New Cities, and carve out your own time to explore before heading home.
