PROGRAM OVERVIEW

In a country where natural disasters like earthquakes are a very real part of life, strong emergency response skills can mean the difference between life and death.

Nepal Community Paramedic Challenge

Nepal’s remote and rural communities often face limited access to healthcare services, making education in first aid, disaster response, and preventative care more important than ever.

On this meaningful program, you'll work alongside local first responders and community members to help strengthen emergency preparedness and promote everyday health and safety. From delivering basic first aid workshops to supporting local health initiatives, your skills, knowledge, and passion can make a real impact.

This is your chance to grow, to give back, and to support a community building resilience in the face of challenges.

Making an Impact

Contribute to global health and well-being!

Through our partnerships in Nepal, we work with various community members, including local schools, women groups and healthcare facilities as we work on a range of projects that aim to improve community health. As part of our Health Promotion Challenge, you will get to work on these hands-on, creating long-term sustainable impact. Supported by our team on the ground, you will be:

Designing and delivering first aid and CPR workshops with local learners and teachers at our partner schools!

Working with the wider community to help train them in administering first aid and treating themselves and their families in an emergency!

Observing and assisting local health clinics in order to gain a better understanding of local facilities, processes and resources available!

FYI: This is a carbon neutral program
